I’ve met a few people who want to have a yarn about the election and electorate issues on my walk (now over 120km and still feeling good).   At Niagara, I did my bit for international relations, where I met some mad keen Russian rugby fans who were not only keen on their footy, but also wanted to know what Parliament was.  I used the analogy of Putin being up top, and the Parliament down below.  That seemed to be understood.

Great people, having a great time and loving New Zealand.  Two of them are continuing to trip around, the other couple are off to the Final this weekend and are only supporting one team (clue: they wear black).

I’m en route to Glenham on Thursday.
